The Apprentice: It's back! Series 10 preview

Now entering its tenth series, The Apprentice is back once again to show us that some people will do almost anything in business.

Desperately trying to avoid the ‘you’re fired’ finger from Lord Sugar this year are 20 (rather than the usual 16) would-be apprentices who, if you believe half of what they tell you, are god’s gift to humanity.

In another series 10 change, the risks are higher for the candidates with the possibility of multiple-firings. The show is sticking with its usual 12 week format, meaning that in some of the weeks, more than one will have to go.

The Apprentice returns this week with two episodes, the first tonight (Tuesday) at 9pm, and another at the same time on Wednesday.

In the first instalment, it’s the boys vs the girls in a challenge to sell products which have all appeared in the first tasks of the previous nine series.

Challenges in this series of The Apprentice will include designing wearable technology, creating an online video channel, running package coach tours and securing and fulfilling orders for a home fragrance range, as well as manufacturing and selling a new board game and launching their own soft drinks brand.

Check back to this blog every week for the latest ups and downs and hirings and firings throughout this series of The Apprentice.
